Is there anything special about Bootblack the shoe-shine?
1 of 3: There is, but it's a rather random thing, with no real clues as to how to figure it out.
2 of 3: You have to start by out-drinking Thaler in his house -- it takes about 8-10 drinks. Good luck.
3 of 3: He'll give you a special scroll about Redanian national intelligence. Give that scroll to Bootblack, and he'll give you a signet ring which will "Impress old people." It can be used to get past the old lady at Shani's house.
