Alchemy Tips
1 of 4: Although it may be possible to get through the game without any potions, it won't be an easy task. Doing some alchemy will make things much easier.
2 of 4: You create potions during meditation -- just click on the potion icon to start. Each potion will require at least 3 ingredients, and up to five. Every potion needs alcohol as a base -- you can only use strong alcohol, and there are varying levels of quality. Normal alcohol can make potions with 3 ingredients, high quality ones can use 4, and "Hallucinogenic" ones can use five. You can also make top quality alcohol (White Gull). Note that some ingredients will show that it contains two ingredients -- only the top one will be used in potions.
3 of 4: You can find various recipes on scrolls throughout the game, or try to make them by guessing ingredients. The latter method can eat up your resources pretty quickly though.
4 of 4: Though you'll find a huge amount of ingredients by killing monsters and harvesting plants, there is a finite amount of alcohol, so don't create a lot of potions you're not going to need. Make them as you require them.
