The Witcher Hints

Suspect: Thaler the Fence

  • 1 of 7: You can gather a lot of evidence on Thaler, most of which makes it look like he's guilty.
  • 2 of 7: Start by talking to him. You can also find a mysterious figure outside his house at night who you can grill him about.
  • 3 of 7: The Jailer, Jethro, will also give you some information about him. None of this is really conclusive, though.
  • 4 of 7: You won't be able to get a definitive answer until you complete Shani's party, and get her sex scene...
  • 5 of 7: During that sequence, she will reveal that Thaler is actually an agent for the country's intelligence service.
  • 6 of 7: Tell him you found him innocent for some more information.
  • 7 of 7: Note that if you accused Thaler, he will no longer talk to you for the rest of Chapter 2, which can break some quests.
