How should I deal with the Scoia'tel in the village?

  • 1 of 10: After you have completed all of the main quests in this chapter, the Scoia'tel will move from Lakeside and take the village hostage.
  • 2 of 10: To actually start this quest, you'll have to talk to White Rayla, who will be waiting by the Fisher King's hut in Lakeside.
  • 3 of 10: She will tell you to go try to negotiate with the elves who've taken villagers hostage.
  • 4 of 10: Now head back to the village -- you'll run into Dandelion on the way, who will try to hide.
  • 5 of 10: Go and talk to Toruviel and Alvin to gauge the situation. Toruviel will refuse to surrender, and tell you to get Dandelion out of hiding.
  • 6 of 10: Go talk to Dandelion, and when you do, the Order will launch a sneak attack. You will now have to choose whom to support -- you will only be able to choose the side you chose in the Bank Robbery quest in Chapter 3, or to be neutral.
  • 7 of 10: If you choose the Order or the Scoia'tel, then the opposite side will attack you. If you choose to be neutral, everybody will attack you (get used to this for Chapter 5).
  • 8 of 10: Either way, once everything is done, follow Dandelion back to the boat in Lakeside.
  • 9 of 10: You'll probably meet White Rayla on the way, who will explain that the attack came because she was relieved of command.
  • 10 of 10: Anyway, go talk to Dandelion to return to Vizima.
