The Witcher Hints
Main Quest: Her Highness the Striga
1 of 12: When you first enter Old Vizima, you will be brought to the Palace and will be forced to take this quest by Foltest.
2 of 12: You won't be able to do much about it until you get to the swamp cemetery, so pursue one of the other main quests (depending on whom you support) until you get there.
3 of 12: Once you reach the swamp cemetery, the Striga's crypt is marked on your map -- head there.
4 of 12: You'll get a little cut-scene if you talk to the refugees nearby. Once you've done that, go talk with Velerad.
5 of 12: He'll tell you to go into the crypt, so do so.
6 of 12: Ah, he locked you in, nice of him. So you now have to choice but to deal with the Striga.
7 of 12: Her crypt is the one a bit to the right, with a campfire outside of it.
8 of 12: Rest until exactly midnight, prepare, and head into the crypt. This can be a very tough fight.
9 of 12: You now have to choose whether to save Adda or kill her.
10 of 12: Your choice there will have an effect on how some of the narration goes in the Epilogue, and on a couple other minor things. It's probably better overall to save her.
11 of 12: Either way, once you're done search the crypt to find Osrit's journal, the final bit of evidence you need.
12 of 12: You won't be able to finish this until the Epilogue, where you encounter Foltest again. The bigger deal, however, is that Velerad will tell you where Azar Javed is hiding -- the Old Manor.
