2 of 5: He will tell you that he needs an ancient Magic Formula, and will tell you where to find it.
3 of 5: Head to the Refugee's Cave, and use Aard, Igni, Aard on the wayfarer's stone.
4 of 5: This is a small straightforward area -- just clear it out, and you'll find the formula in a chest.
5 of 5: Bring it back to Kalkstein to get him started on the armor.
