Should I help the witch or let her die?
1 of 4: It's up to you -- there's really no good guys in this chapter. Note that your choice will have some effects quite a while down the line in chapter four, and will have a small effect on the epilogue.
2 of 4: You'll have to choose whether to protect her or let the mob have her after you've listened to all the villagers.
3 of 4: If you save her, you'll have Abigail's help in the boss fight, which is rather useful since she can heal you. If you let her die, you'll be helped by a bunch of peasants as well as Odo and Haren. They are basically useful only as cannon fodder, but they allow you to focus entirely on the boss, which is nice.
4 of 4: It is probably the better choice to save Abigail -- she will help you a few times down the line, and the Reverend is a bit of a jerk anyway.
