The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Return to Sven and then defeat Letande Avet in an arena fight.
1 of 5: TIP: Visit the two nearby craftsmen and see if they have any swords or other useful items you can buy to upgrade your equipment.
2 of 5: When you're ready, return to Sven and say "no time to lose" to get the duel started.
3 of 5: Letande Avet will come after you while Sven and Edwin go after each other.
4 of 5: Letande has fast and powerful attacks, so use the Quen sign right away for protection, then use the Yrden and/or Aard signs to help keep him off balance while you attack him.
5 of 5: Another strategy is to run around to avoid Letande's attacks while helping Sven with Edwin. Letande should stay focused on you, allowing Sven to attack him with impunity after Edwin goes down.
