The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Melitele's Heart
1 of 6: You can get this quest while doing the "By the King's Will" main quest.
2 of 6: Talk to the reaver named Newboy, who's standing near two other reavers on the west side of the main camp.
3 of 6: After you examine Newboy's amulet, you can lie and say it'll help him in battle, or you can truthfully say that its magic doesn't seem to have anything to do with protection in battle.
4 of 6: You'll encounter Newboy again near the end of the prologue. He'll be dead if you lied to him, and he'll be alive if you didn't.
5 of 6: You'll get his magic amulet either way, though note that he can distract a couple of guards for you if he's alive.
6 of 6: NOTE: He may not actually give you his amulet (called Newboy's Talisman in your inventory) if he's alive. If that's the case, let the two guards he's trying to distract see you. He'll feel obligated to attack you along with them, which allows you to kill him and loot his remains.
