The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints

Find the entrance to the catacombs and the standard of the Dun Banner ....

  • 1 of 10: Go up the stairs that lead NW from the Mahakam gate, then go up some more stairs and turn north.
  • 2 of 10: Keep going to reach a door that leads to a short tunnel.
  • 3 of 10: Go through the door at the tunnel's other end, then follow the path to a large pond.
  • 4 of 10: Turn right and run along the shore until you reach a spot near a waterfall where you can cross to the other side.
  • 5 of 10: Go down the narrow, overgrown path until you come to where you can see some soldiers and a stone gate up ahead. Don't go that way, but instead turn right and go down a narrow side path.
  • 6 of 10: Follow that path along to a path split next to a huge white-ish rock, then turn right to find a rubble-blocked entrance to the dwarven catacombs.
  • 7 of 10: Go through the unblocked entrance to the right of it, then head down the first room's stairs.
  • 8 of 10: Cross a small stone bridge, then turn left and look for another small stone bridge to cross.
  • 9 of 10: In the room past it are three hostile wraiths. Use your silver sword and Yrden signs to finish them off, then go NW to find a room with three more wraiths in it.
  • 10 of 10: After they're down, use the Aard sign to blast away the SW wall, then go through it to meet Ekhart Henessy's wraith.
