The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Defeat the Kaedweni general.
1 of 6: Vandergrift's draug form is huge and powerful, and its sword has a very long reach.
2 of 6: Besides its regular sword attack, it can use various special attacks, such as turning into a mini-tornado and calling for a trebuchet bombardment. The best thing to do at those times is to hide behind something and/or have the Quen sign active.
3 of 6: When you start doing the draug some damage, you'll notice that you're draining the blue armor line that's shown below its health line. When the blue line is gone, it'll pull one of its above-mentioned special attacks.
4 of 6: TIP: If you're leading it in circles around the area's central rocky spire, it should be fairly easy to avoid damage from special attacks.
5 of 6: From then on, you'll be able to damage its health line, but don't stay near it for too long or it'll get you with another special attack. (The mini-tornado is its favorite.) Keep running around to help avoid that.
6 of 6: If you can ever manage to kill the freaky thing, you'll move on to one last "become someone else" sequence.
