How can I get the ballista to hit the count?
1 of 7: When the shaky spyglass view comes up, you'll see that it has a small grid drawn on it, and that some lines are labeled with numbers.
2 of 7: You'll also see two small figures crouched on the battlements in the distance. The one on the right is the one you're trying to hit with the ballista.
3 of 7: Move the spyglass' grid to what looks like a good spot and click to get your character to say how many degrees to raise the ballista before firing again.
4 of 7: To get the ballista to hit the count, you'll need it raised by one and a half degrees.
5 of 7: There are no clues as to how this works, and trying to figure it out through trial and error is extremely tedious due to having to go through a long conversation sequence after restoring a save before being able to try again. Read on for the exact answer.
6 of 7: What you need to do is click when the center of the grid (the middle of the line intersections that are to the left of the "II" mark) is just below the guy on the right.
7 of 7: If you give up on it, you can play on after the ballista misses the count. The only penalty is that you'll have to fight him along with his men in a future combat, and that doesn't really make it much harder.
