The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Prepare the Mongoose potion.
1 of 6: NOTE: Watch out for more nekkers as you go back through the cave, plus several drowners just outside. North of that are some hostile elves and more nekkers.
2 of 6: Checking the mongoose potion formula in the Crafting Diagrams section of your inventory, you'll see that it requires ingredients that contain the rebis, aether, and fulgur substances.
3 of 6: The ostmurk is your source of fulgur, but you'll have to find other ingredients to give you rebis and aether.
4 of 6: If you've been picking herbs from plants and looting creature remains, you'll probably already have ingredients with both of those substances in them. For instance, nekker hearts contain rebis.
5 of 6: If you're still lacking either rebis or aether, you can go around looking for herbs in outdoor areas you haven't looted yet, or you can check the inventory of a herbalist (such as Anezka in Lobinden).
6 of 6: To mix up the potion once you have all the needed ingredients, enter meditation mode and select "alchemy," then click on the mongoose potion formula and press ENTER.
