The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Talk to the alderman, Cecil Burdon.
1 of 3: From the top of the steps near the inn, go NE and up the sloping path until you can turn right and go through a short tunnel.
2 of 3: Turn right past it and go through another tunnel, then look for Cecil Burdon near Zoltan in the large group of dwarves. (Note that if you get there fast enough, you'll have to wait a bit for them to arrive.)
3 of 3: Talk to Burdon to get the nearby mine entrance door unlocked.
