1 of 14: Retrace your route to get back to the top of the steps near the inn, then go west through the big open gate.
2 of 14: Go SW to find the Mahakam Gate, then go up the stairs next to it that lead NW.
3 of 14: Go up some more stairs and turn north, then keep going to reach a door that leads to a short tunnel.
4 of 14: Go through the door at the tunnel's other end, then follow the path to a large pond.
5 of 14: Go up to the Scoia'tael standing next to the pond to get a brief conversation followed by a combat.
6 of 14: After you finish them off, go east along the shore until you reach a large rock, then go north to the pond's other side.
7 of 14: Look for some slanty ground on your right that you can run up. The start of it can be kind of hard to see due to being partly covered in bushes.
8 of 14: Run up the slanty ground and keep going along until you reach the end of the path.
9 of 14: Go up to the edge of the rock at the end of the path and see if the game will let you click to jump across. If not, you'll need to deal with some enemies first.
10 of 14: Stand and wait for them to come to you. If you're lucky, it'll just be a couple of harpies. Otherwise, it could be a lot of harpies, plus several tough Kaedweni soldiers, plus several drowned dead.
11 of 14: Jump across when you can, then hack up a couple more harpies before jumping across another gap.
12 of 14: A bunch of harpies will attack on the other side of the second gap, so use the Aard sign to knock them around and keep them from all attacking you at once.
13 of 14: Go over to the base of the left side of the tower to find a ledge you can climb up. Before you do, kill the special celaeno harpy that attacks you.
14 of 14: Climb up the ledge and go over to the big nest to find a crystal that you can take.
