The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Search the caves for a useful artifact.
1 of 10: Go back to the Mahakam Gate, then go through it and follow the path along until you reach the remains of a burned village.
2 of 10: As you move to its north end, a couple of wraiths may appear and attack you.
3 of 10: Go left (south) from the path split that's next to a Scoia'tael camp, then go through a big stone gate and on to find another path split near a big wooden idol.
4 of 10: Go down the path that starts on the idol's left side to reach a burned-out cabin, then continue down the path to start encountering large numbers of harpies.
5 of 10: Remember to use the Quen and Aard signs to make the combats easier. Another good strategy (especially with really large harpy groups) is to keep retreating from them while hitting them repeatedly with the Igni sign. (This will really help if you've used talent points to fully power it up on the magic development path.)
6 of 10: Keep fighting your way down the winding path until you find the tall, narrow door that leads to the harpy lair.
7 of 10: Move along the passage, killing first two celaeno harpies and then two regular harpies. Look for a dead soldier past them, and loot him to get some good armor.
8 of 10: Just past the dead soldier, climb up a small ledge and fight two more harpies, then go along the winding path to find three more harpies.
9 of 10: After thrashing another trio of harpies, look for two ledges to drop down, then kill three more harpies.
10 of 10: Not far past that is the final room, where you'll get a cut-scene followed by the next objective.
