The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Convince the female troll to return to her husband.
1 of 5: Go down the path that leads south from the troll camp to encounter several harpies. (Note that they won't go near the troll camp, so you can retreat to the north whenever you need a rest.)
2 of 5: Keep moving south along the path to encounter a couple more harpies, then go east at the path split.
3 of 5: Cross the small meadow, slashing harpies as you come across them, then go down to a path split.
4 of 5: Head east from it and climb up a ledge to find the female troll being attacked by several mercenaries.
5 of 5: The mercs will talk to you and give you the option of helping them kill the troll. If you accept, you'll get the "Kill the she-troll" objective. If you say the troll must live, you'll get the "Defeat Pangratt and his men" objective.
