The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Sneak behind the building and eavesdrop.
1 of 10: Follow Roche over to an alley, then wait while he lures away the first guard.
2 of 10: Move into the alley to automatically enter sneak mode, then try to sneak around without any of the guards seeing you.
3 of 10: If a guard does see you, the sneak-around sequence will be aborted, and you'll move on to the conversation cut-scene with Loredo. That's perfectly okay if you find all the tedious sneaking around to be too hard, but you'll lose out on some loot and XP.
4 of 10: To start with, sneak-run along the right side of the pile of rocks ahead to avoid the notice of the first guard.
5 of 10: When you come upon a second guard taking a leak, move slowly up behind him until the game prompts you to right-click to take him out. (Note that you'll have to be careful not to knock over a nearby barrel or take too long reaching the guard.)
6 of 10: Move down the path past the locked door until the game takes control of your view briefly to show you the window where Síle is. Quicksave, then look for a way to sneak over to that window.
7 of 10: Go to the end of the wall and look around the corner to see a ladder nearby that you need to climb up. If there's a guard near the ladder, wait for him to wander off.
8 of 10: It can be tricky to get to the ladder and get up it without the guard seeing you. Try going for the ladder right after the guard starts walking away from it, and be sure not to bump the bucket that's just around the corner.
9 of 10: Loot the chest at the top of the ladder, then climb onto the stack of boxes.
10 of 10: Move across the boxes until you're able to click to look through the window and eavesdrop on the conversation.
