The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Activate the dwarven mechanism.
1 of 6: Make sure your swords are equipped, then run up the stairs to the right of the gate.
2 of 6: Past some more steps is an area with a wheel you need to use imbedded in the wall.
3 of 6: Several Kaedweni soldiers are already up there, so lay into them with your steel sword.
4 of 6: You can't just keep killing soldiers until they stop coming, so hack up a few of them, then cast the Quen sign if you haven't already.
5 of 6: Go over to the wheel in the wall (check the area map for a quest arrow if you need help finding it) and click to start a rather difficult QTE.
6 of 6: If you succeed in it, you'll get the next objective.
