The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Defend Vergen's walls.
1 of 7: Follow Zoltan up onto the wall, then wait for enemy soldiers to set up two ladders and start climbing onto the wall.
2 of 7: This is another big battle in which you have lots of allies, so use the usual tactic of hanging back and not taking any unnecessary risks.
3 of 7: TIP: Stay on the stairs that lead up to a higher wall section and use the Igni sign from there to fire-bomb nearby Kaedweni soldiers.
4 of 7: After you and your allies kill off a bunch of enemies, a bunch more will climb up and attack following a brief cut-scene.
5 of 7: After they're all dead, you'll get the next objective.
6 of 7: When you get this objective again, a combat similar to the first two will start.
7 of 7: At some point during the combat, a cut-scene will happen that moves you on to the "Break through to Iorveth" objective.
