The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Find Cedric.
1 of 9: Exit the brothel room and turn left, then follow the blood splatters down the steps.
2 of 9: TIP: Entering meditation mode and drinking a Cat potion will make the blood splotches much easier to see.
3 of 9: There are several trails of blood, most of which end in corpses that aren't Cedric. If you follow such a trail, backtrack and look for blood splatters leading off in a direction you haven't investigated yet.
4 of 9: It's unlikely that Cedric, as an elf, would make his way from the inn into the center of town during an anti-human riot.
5 of 9: So follow the blood trail that leads past the gallows and through the town's SE doors.
6 of 9: Continue east along the main path until you reach the stream, then go south along it to find more blood splatters.
7 of 9: The trail gets confusing and multi-branching again, so you'd be better off just following the stream south to the pool with the waterfall.
8 of 9: Look for Cedric lying next to the NW corner of the pool.
9 of 9: After you talk to him, Dandelion and Zoltan will show up and tell you about your two alliance options. Which one you choose will determine how you finish the game.
