The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
Talk to Aryan La Valette.
1 of 6: You'll probably be able to level up after the cut-scene is over. When you're done with that, quickly run east past the arrow barrage and take out the archers that are on your level.
2 of 6: Go along the wooden walkway that starts near one of the archers' barricades to find another knight to fight and a ladder to climb.
3 of 6: Past the ladder, run along the upsloping walkways until you reach a spot where you can climb up to get onto the top of the tower.
4 of 6: After making a save, move toward Aryan La Valette to start a conversation with him.
5 of 6: If you start by saying "as you wish," you'll have to fight Aryan and all of his men. That's a very tough combat, and you'll need to use blocking, potions, and signs to their fullest to survive it.
6 of 6: If you tell him to surrender and save his men, you'll then get three options. The first one gets Aryan and his men to surrender without a fight, the second one gets you a one-on-one duel with Aryan, and the third one gets the above-mentioned tough combat with Aryan and his men.
