The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints

What if I choose not to turn them over to the specter?

  • 1 of 9: fYou must attempt to trick the specter by giving it some hearts and eyes from either nekkers or pigs.
  • 2 of 9: You'll probably have more than enough nekker eyes and hearts from looting the nekkers you killed here in the ruins.
  • 3 of 9: If you'd rather get pig eyes and hearts, return to Flotsam and find Amadeus Miller next to the building with the pig sign hanging on it. (It's a short way north of the town's SW gate.)
  • 4 of 9: Talk to him about what you need, then buy two of them from the merchant screen.
  • 5 of 9: Either way, return to the specter's room in the ruins.
  • 6 of 9: Talk to the specter to turn in the pig's eyes and hearts if you have them, and some nekkers' eyes and hearts if you don't.
  • 7 of 9: In either case, he'll realize you're trying to trick him, and he'll attack. He's fairly tough, but he's alone, so he shouldn't be much trouble to defeat.
  • 8 of 9: Loot his remains, then go back outside and talk to Rupert or Gridley.
  • 9 of 9: You can tell them to go away in order to let them go, or you can say they have to be punished to turn them in to Loredo in Flotsam.
