What if I want to rescue the elven women?
1 of 5: Go east from the boardwalk's path split and open the door to the burning tower.
2 of 5: Turn left and run into the next room, then quickly climb two ladders to get up to where the trapped women are.
3 of 5: Go up to each one of them and click to release her, then do a fill-the-bar QTE to set her free.
4 of 5: Do all of that as quickly as possible, then run for the doorway that leads to the balcony. If you're fast enough, you'll make it. Otherwise, you'll get burned to death.
5 of 5: During the chapter-ending cut-scenes, you'll briefly become Iorveth. Slash Vernon Roche a few times, then wait for Chapter 2 to start.
