What if I went there on my own?
1 of 4: Go up to the desk that Pugg is sitting behind to get him to talk to you.
2 of 4: What happens after he tests the formula depends on whether or not you gave him the real one.
3 of 4: If you did, he'll pay you. If you didn't, he and his tough bandit buddies will attack you.
4 of 4: Either way, you can look around the cave for loot, then leave either the way you came or by using the small boat that's on the east side of the cave. (It'll take you to Flotsam's harbor.)
