From a Bygone Era
1 of 5: You'll get this quest while doing the "Little Sisters" side quest.
2 of 5: The notes obviously have something to do with magic, so go talk to a sorcerer about them.
3 of 5: Return to the camp and talk to Dethmold in his tent.
4 of 5: Show him Malget's notes to learn what they are, then decide whether to sell them to him or not.
5 of 5: If you sell them, you'll get some orens, and the quest will essentially be over. If you keep them, you can continue this quest in Chapter 3.
