The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Hints
From a Bygone Era
1 of 3: Even though this is really a side quest for the Vernon Roche variety of Chapter 2, you can still do it.
2 of 3: After you cross through the evil-mist battlefield on the "Where Is Triss Merigold?" quest, you can go to the house on the cliff and get Malget's notes as detailed in the "Little Sisters" quest.
3 of 3: Note that you won't be able to talk to Mavrick or Dethmold, but will only be able to get the notes from the cellar. That'll be it for this quest until Chapter 3.
