5. Sabotage the Umpani Flight Deck
1 of 9: This is the final quest given to you by Z'ant, and requires you to infiltrate the Umpani compound, locate the Flight Deck, and sabotage it. The necessary steps are outlined below.
Warning: Completing this quest will almost certainly destroy your faction rating with the Umpani. This is fine if you have chosen to align with the T'rang, but may ruin any chances of forging an alliance between the two factions later on.
2 of 9: As part of this quest, Z'ant instructs you to locate his informant in the Umpani Base Camp and repeat a message to him.
3 of 9: Speak with Sgt. Kunar in the Commissary, and repeat Z'ant's message ("Destiny Arrives Tonight") to him. He will give you an IUF Top Security Pass (Fake), and instructions on how to complete your mission.
4 of 9: Sgt. Kunar will direct you to the Umpani Flight Deck, located on the summit of Mt. Gigas. To get there, you'll need to proceed through Mt. Gigas Caves and Upper Mt. Gigas Caves.
5 of 9: Follow the signs in Mt. Gigas Caves to the Delta sector, then take the elevator up to the Upper Caves. Take the first path to the east, then the next path to the south. Use your fake Security Pass on the door here and climb the stairs to Mt. Gigas Peak. This is where you'll do your dirty work.
6 of 9: There are 2 steps to finishing this quest. You must sabotage the runway itself, and then direct the computer to transmit a message to any Umpani pilots in the area.
7 of 9: Inspecting the edge of the runway, you will see a chain spanning its width. Click on the hook of the chain to release it.
8 of 9: The computer is located in the tall building at the far end of the runway. Enter the door at ground level, then climb the metal ramp here to find the computer. Click on the computer and repeat the command given to you by Sgt. Kunar.
9 of 9: The command is "Transfer to Base". Say this to the computer, observe the havoc you have wrought, and then prepare to battle the entirety of the IUF before returning to Z'ant for your reward.
