Where can I buy a shield?
1 of 8: You will find a woman in town selling one.
2 of 8: The woman who owns the general store (the teepee-shaped building on your map).
3 of 8: She will charge you 80 rupees for it, which may seem like a lot if you haven't been consciously making money thus far.
4 of 8: However, there is a quick means by which you can make 100 rupees.
5 of 8: If you helped the farmer on the other side of town, he will have told you to roll into a certain tree to the north-east of Mercay Island.
6 of 8: Go and do so (it doesn't matter if you didn't help him -- the money will still drop anyway).
7 of 8: The tree is along the coast at the north-east of Mercay Island, opposite the smaller island offshore there.
8 of 8: Roll into it, and 100 rupees will drop. Grab them, and the shield will be yours much more quickly!
