Heart Container Locations

  • 1 of 16: There are a total of sixteen heart containers in this game, including the three you begin the game with.
  • 2 of 16: Their locations, and a description of how to collect each one, are listed below:
  • 3 of 16: #1, #2, and #3: These are your initial hearts. You already have these upon starting the game. You have no need to collect them :)
  • 4 of 16: #4: This container is your reward for defeating Blaaz: Master of Fire, the fiery guardian of the Temple of Fire.
  • 5 of 16: #5: This container will be yours after slaying Cyclok: Master of Wind, the boss of the Temple of Wind.
  • 6 of 16: #6: This container is in a chest found after besting Crayk: Band of Courage, who resides in the Temple of Courage.
  • 7 of 16: #7: This container is yours after you beat the Diabolical Cubus Sisters, who are found on the Ghost Ship.
  • 8 of 16: #8: This container is the prize of Dongorongo: Armored Lizard, the boss of the Goron Temple.
  • 9 of 16: #9: This container will be accessible after you complete the Ice Temple and beat Gleeok: Two-Headed Dragon.
  • 10 of 16: #10: This container can be collected from Eox: Ancient Stone Soldier, who guards Mutoh's Temple.
  • 11 of 16: #11: This container can be purchased from Beedle's assistant at his ship shop which floats around the sea.
  • 12 of 16: #12: This container is obtained from the Traveler's Ship, which sails in the Northwest Quadrant.
  • 13 of 16: #13: This container is the reward of a side quest involving the Wayfarer who lives on Bannan Island.
  • 14 of 16: #14: This container comes from the son of the Wayfarer who gave us the previous container.
  • 15 of 16: #15: This heart container can be purchased from the shops in most towns.
  • 16 of 16: #16: The final heart container is the trickiest to obtain. You need to head to Maze Island, an uncharted island in the Northwest Quadrant.
