The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Hints
How do I defeat Bellum's first form, the Evil Phantom?
of 16: This fight comes in phases again, like most of the previous ones.
of 16: Your grappling hook is the key to the first phase of battle.
of 16: The purple smoke that covers his body can actually be hooked onto.
of 16: Pull it all away, piece by piece, to expose his body.
of 16: You can then in turn pull the body itself to you, and whack it a few times with your sword.
of 16: Repeat the process until he moves up to the second floor -- swiftly follow him.
of 16: The second phase requires you to knock him back down to the first floor again.
of 16: To do this, use your bow.
of 16: Shoot at the yellow eyes on the back of his hands hanging from the pillars.
of 16: Once you have shot them all, he will fall back to the first floor.
of 16: Head down and do exactly the same as you did the first time around.
of 16: You will then need to repeat the second phase once more, only this time the yellow marks on the hands will be flashing.
of 16: You need to hit them when they are lit for the blows to count.
of 16: After you've done this, he will attack again.
of 16: However thanks to the cut scenes you just watched, you will now be able to stop time by clicking the symbol on your screen and drawing the hourglass symbol.
of 16: Freeze time when his weak point -- his eye -- is visible, and then hammer on it with your sword over and over until he finally sinks.
