The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Hints
How can I get through the Bomb Garden?
of 10: If this is your first Zelda game, you may be unfamiliar with the items growing in here.
of 10: As the name suggests, they're bombs, capable of being carried, thrown or dropped, and causing explosive damage to enemies and scenery alike.
of 10: The first blocked passage simply requires you throw a bomb at it to blow up the rocks and allow you to pass.
of 10: The second has a block that Link can move, which is obscured by another explodable rock.
of 10: The bomb plant just next to it is a decoy.
of 10: To pass, you need to go back to the first set of bomb plants, grab one, and throw it over the fence to destroy the rock.
of 10: You can then push the block into the room and continue.
of 10: There are a few more blocks to move before you get outside but nothing at all difficult. Just push them to clear a path and run through.
of 10: Outside, you will need to blow up a few more rocks, but as always, there are bombs nearby.
of 10: If there is one set of rocks, to the right of the area, that you feel you can't reach in time before the bomb explodes, remember you can jump from ledges holding the bombs and throw them very quickly across the whole screen.
