Anachronox Hints
I know who stole the Three Keys, but where did they go?
of 12: First, make sure that you've talked to Restlin Brewster and that he's turned in his accomplice. If he hasn't, you still have some more footwork to do.
of 12: You're going to need physical evidence from Brother Liseria's room before you can convince the Abbot of Liseria's guilt. This means you need to re-claim one of your party members. They're both outside in the Entertainment District -- just talk to whomever you want to help you, and they'll temporarily rejoin you. (I took Stiletto, and I'll use her name in the hints that follow, but I don't think it matters that much if you choose someone else.)
of 12: Go back into the Tower and knock on the door to Brother Liseria's. Boots will tell Stiletto (or whoever you chose) that she should go around and open the large window to the right of the door and go into Liseria's that way.
of 12: Just walk her along the ledge and click on the smaller window to open it and enter Liseria's room. What follows next is mainly a matter of quickness and patience -- there's no real puzzle here. (And as much as you may be tempted to do so, I would not recommend saving your game once Stiletto is inside Liseria's room. I found that the game would frequently crash if I tried restoring that save. Your results may vary, so feel free to experiment, but don't overwrite any critical saves. Saving before you knock on the door seems to be as stable as anything, though.)
of 12: The game will flip back and forth between Sly and Stiletto. Sly has to say something to keep Liseria talking, while Stiletto has to search for evidence. There's no real puzzle solving here -- Liseria will eventually give up on Sly no matter what you say, and the evidence doesn't look particularly interesting from a distance. I know it is quite annoying to lose control of Stiletto every few seconds, but there's not much you can do about that. Fortunately, you can keep trying if Liseria catches you.
of 12: The evidence is in the front half of the room -- i.e., closer to the front door than the bedroom window.
of 12: Look on the table on the wall to your right as you're coming from the bedroom.
of 12: There are some papers there. That's the evidence you need. (Click on the papers, not the books on the same table.)
of 12: Read the papers, and you'll find out that Brother Gray at the Eco Bar was also involved.
of 12: The Eco Bar is back in the Entertainment District. Gray will spill the beans if you buy him a drink -- he's standing right at the bar itself.
of 12: He says that he's staying in room 3 of Le Sommeil. Go there (it's on the second floor) and pick the lock. You'll find the keys on the bed.
of 12: Remember that you don't have to take the keys -- just click on them to look at them and report their location back to the Abbot.
