Ankh Hints

Get hold of some gold to purchase Fatima's treasure map.

  • 1 of 20: Talk to Fatima in her stall in the bazaar to get this added to your to-do list. (Note that her stall is the first one you come to if you enter the bazaar from your home area.)
  • 2 of 20: After you talk to her about the curse and some items that she supposedly has for sale, she'll mention the treasure map.
  • 3 of 20: Unfortunately, you'll need not just silver, but a whole pile of actual *gold*, in order to buy it.
  • 4 of 20: Or maybe she'd take something else very valuable in exchange.
  • 5 of 20: There's nothing around here, so you'll have to travel elsewhere to find something.
  • 6 of 20: Do the "Find a way to speak to the Pharaoh" task until you get the crocodile teeth.
  • 7 of 20: During that process, you also got a dirty statue.
  • 8 of 20: Click on the statue in inventory to learn that there's probably gold under all that dirt.
  • 9 of 20: So prove it! Clean off the statue with something.
  • 10 of 20: You got a brush from the starting task of the game, but it won't work as it is because it doesn't have any bristles.
  • 11 of 20: You'll need to get something to add to the brush to make it more brushy.
  • 12 of 20: What's one thing that old paintbrushes and such used to be made out of?
  • 13 of 20: Many were made out of animal hair. What hairy animals are common in these parts?
  • 14 of 20: How about camels?
  • 15 of 20: There's a caravan stranded in Giza, complete with camels.
  • 16 of 20: So go to Giza and do the "Wash the camel" task.
  • 17 of 20: After that's over, right-click on the camel hair in the Camel-O-Wash to take some.
  • 18 of 20: Then use it on the brush in inventory.
  • 19 of 20: Now you can use the brush on the dirty statue in order to clean it up and make it valuable-looking.
  • 20 of 20: Go give the statue to Fatima to get the treasure map.
