What do I have to achieve in Melanie's Room?

  • 1 of 34: How do I arrive at Melanie's Room?
  • 2 of 34: Snazzy room Granny's daughter-in-law has got! {BUM}.  Seems to be a lot to do here!  Try whatever you can.
  • 3 of 34: Whatever you do, Melanie seems oblivious.  She's reclining in her bikini on a sunbathing deckchair smoking (pot?).
  • 4 of 34: You won't get any reaction, not even a word, from her.
  • 5 of 34: There are so many weird things in this room it's difficult to know what Granny wants.
  • 6 of 34: Try everything.
  • 7 of 34: There's a "Thingy-Poo" animal in an aquarium with no water.
  • 8 of 34: He's looking at an album.
  • 9 of 34: Maybe that's what Granny wants.
  • 10 of 34: The animal is not cooperative!
  • 11 of 34: Whatever it is she wants, she'll evidently have to go about it in an extraordinarily circuitous manner.
  • 12 of 34: What about those two bug like creatures bouncing up and down on the hot plates?
  • 13 of 34: And the toaster? ... and the large wedge?
  • 14 of 34: But none of these items, in themselves, seems at all helpful.  Granny will have to find some way of using some or all of them.
  • 15 of 34: Maybe there is something that ~will~ move that wedge.
  • 16 of 34: What about the crowbar in your bra-ventory?
  • 17 of 34: So the wedge moved into a new position.  It doesn't seem to help much.
  • 18 of 34: Look at it.  One edge is serrated.
  • 19 of 34: Flip it over and you've got a non-slip ramp.
  • 20 of 34: Push the toaster.  It falls from the table to the floor ... but doesn't ~do~ anything.
  • 21 of 34: Kick it a few times -- it moves to the top of the wedge-ramp.
  • 22 of 34: Grab each of the bugs in turn and put them in the toaster.
  • 23 of 34: Operate the toaster lever.
  • 24 of 34: A toasted bug goes flying through the air and gets speared beneath the ceiling fan and gets it rotating.
  • 25 of 34: Ditto, the second bug ... more of the same.
  • 26 of 34: There's a box near to Melanie.  But you can't do anything with it.  Maybe there's a rather similar box somewhere else.
  • 27 of 34: Use the Jack-in-a-box from your bra-ventory.
  • 28 of 34: At last Melanie deigns to get on her feet ... like a Zombie!

  • 30 of 34: Or maybe hypnotize her.

  • 33 of 34: Enter it and Granny gets what she was apparently after all the time.
