How can I convince the Dragon to give me an egg?
1 of 4: The dragon offers to make you a deal: she will relinquish one of her eggs in exchange for an amount of gold equal to the number of scales on her body.
2 of 4: Don't bother to count the scales yourself. Do some research to see if anyone else has worked out the number.
3 of 4: After reading a book in the Castle library, you'll learn that each dragon has precisely 4815 scales. Return to the dragon and offer her the same number of gold pieces to get the egg.
4 of 4: If you can't afford the dragon's fee, or would prefer to get this quest over with quickly, you can attempt to kill the dragon. You'll have to decide which prospect is more appealing: that of the long trudge back to the castle library, or facing 20 tons of angry, frost-spewing dragon in a battle to the death. It's your choice. However, if you do manage to kill her, you will be rewarded with two extra dragon eggs and three dragon bones, which can be used to enchant weapons.
