What is the solution to the riddle?
  • 1 of 11: It is elemental, with a slight twist.
  • 2 of 11: Think of the elements as you study the clues and the disks themselves.
  • 3 of 11: Jot down what each disk looks like and the clue you are given for it.
  • 4 of 11: Determine exactly what each disk represents using the clues.
  • 5 of 11: Now that you know what they mean, figure out how they should be arranged in relation to each other.
  • 6 of 11: The riddle has two parts, so you will be arranging these disks twice.
  • 7 of 11: Solve the first half of the riddle using only the first part of the sentences.  The weakest element should be placed on the left side, followed by the next and so on.
  • 8 of 11: Attach the disks onto the pegs in the proper order and the bridge will lower half-way.
  • 9 of 11: Solve the second half of the riddle using the last part of the sentences, using only those clues that include the word "later." The strongest element goes first in this instance, followed by the next weaker element and so on.
  • 10 of 11: The bridge will lower completely when you are done.
