And Then There Were None Hints

What should I do while I wait for dinner?

  • 1 of 8: This is one of those times when the game won't go on till you do everything it wants you to do. You can't go back outside; the weather's something fierce. Better see what there is to do in the house.
  • 2 of 8: Go through all the rooms you can, seeing what and whom there is to see and talking to everyone. Follow the usual adventure game protocol: Pick up everything that isn't nailed down because you'll need it eventually.
  • 3 of 8: When you've done everything, the dinner bell will ring and you'll go on to the next part. Specifically, you need to do the following:
  • 4 of 8: -- Go into the kitchen (via the dining room) and talk to Rogers.
  • 5 of 8: -- Go into the servants' room (via the kitchen) and pick up two letters and a packet of pins.
  • 6 of 8: -- Go upstairs via the back hall and talk to Mrs. Rogers, who's standing by the linen closet complaining. Help her when you have the chance; you don't have to, but you need all the friends you can get.
  • 7 of 8: -- Search or knock on all the guest rooms, picking up anything you can take.
  • 8 of 8: -- Go downstairs to the game room (check the map if you're not sure where it is) and overhear the doctor and the judge talking.
