How can I find Arneson's safe?
1 of 10: Before the game will let you find the safe, you'll have to investigate several particular things.
2 of 10: The most important thing to do is investigate Arneson's murder to the extent that you currently can.
3 of 10: After that, there are only a few more things you'll need to do before the safe will come out of hiding.
4 of 10: In the hallway near the servant's room is another door with a blood stain on the floor near it.
5 of 10: Click on the blood stain to examine it, then click on the door to try (and fail) to open it.
6 of 10: The only other item that you need right now is up in the master bedroom (the only unlocked room upstairs).
7 of 10: Look on the small table past the bed.
8 of 10: Take the puzzle page from the table, and you should get a brief cut-scene of a safe being revealed nearby.
9 of 10: If not, then you apparently haven't done everything specified in the above-mentioned hints about finding out what happened to Arneson.
10 of 10: If necessary, go back and re-click on every still-existing hotspot involved in the Arneson investigation. You should soon get the safe-revealing cut-scene. (For instance, I was once stuck for a long time, but then clicked on the candelabrum on the dining room floor again, and the safe appeared.)
