How can I open the safe after I've found it?
1 of 11: Click on the safe's plus-shaped handle to get a close-up view of it.
2 of 11: In that view, you can click on twelve different numbers to cycle them through the ten digits. When you think you have all of the numbers set correctly, click on the plus-shaped handle to see if you're right.
3 of 11: As for figuring out the combo, it isn't written anywhere, but you do have a relevant clue in your inventory.
4 of 11: Check the puzzle page you picked up from near the bed on your portfolio's documents page.
5 of 11: Notice that the puzzle involves a clock face, and therefore has twelve numbers printed around it. Perhaps that ties in with the twelve numbers that you can set on the safe.
6 of 11: Of course, all twelve safe numbers are one-digit, and not all twelve clock number are one-digit. But maybe that's where the puzzle part comes in!
7 of 11: Notice that next to each hour number on the puzzle's clock face is a blank square, two of which have been filled in to start you off. (And two more were apparently filled in by Arneson.)
8 of 11: What you need to do is figure out how to get from the hour numbers to the numbers that go in the squares next to them.
