How do I find the correct setting for this gizmo?
1 of 13: After you click on it to get a close-up view, notice that there's four concentric circles, plus a button and a little four-dot display to the left.
2 of 13: Try pressing the button to see what happens.
3 of 13: It just clicks ... at least, at first.
4 of 13: Try clicking on one or more of the concentric circles to turn them, then pressing the button again.
5 of 13: When you do, the little four-dot display may or may not change.
6 of 13: Your goal is to get all four dots lit.
7 of 13: Each dot is linked to a particular concentric circle, so if a dot isn't lit, that means its circle wasn't in the correct rotational position the last time the button was pressed.
8 of 13: So what you should do is rotate each circle once and hit the button to see how that affects the dots.
9 of 13: You should soon figure out what circles go with which dots.
10 of 13: NOTE: You can reset the mechanism by right-clicking to exit the close-up view. Also, if you don't get it right after the first eight button presses, you'll automatically de-zoom and reset (though this won't happen a second time).
11 of 13: Read on for an exact solution from the starting configuration.
12 of 13: Leave the center circle alone, click on the next circle twice, click on the third circle twice, and click on the outer circle three times.
