How can I read the inscription on the big flat stone near the well?
1 of 14: First, shed some light on the stone.
2 of 14: Stand so that you're facing it, then click on the Lantern in inventory.
3 of 14: Still can't read it, can you?
4 of 14: Notice that it's still giving you the Use Inventory Item cursor.
5 of 14: That means there must be some other inventory item you can use on the stone to help read it.
6 of 14: And no, a magnifying glass isn't it.
7 of 14: How do some people make cheap copies of raised stone lettering or shapes? (Besides taking photos of them.)
8 of 14: They put a piece of paper against it and make a rubbing with a pencil, piece of charcoal, or whatever.

10 of 14: Then you'll need something to do your rubbing with.
