Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle Hints
How can I get past the evil living stone at Stone Row?
of 12: That's the sentry stone.
of 12: Have you read the general question about it?
of 12: The thing appears in Stone Row the first time you go there, and it'll stay there constantly until you do something that's apparently unrelated.
of 12: Maybe you could get it interested in someone else.
of 12: It seems to be ignoring the guy in the service station's office (for now), so who else is there in the local area?
of 12: Do you remember what you were doing in the game's starting FMV sequence (besides driving)?
of 12: You were listening to a local radio station.
of 12: Maybe it's *really* local, and is within the range of the sentry stone.
of 12: It's worth a try, if you can figure out how to get the sentry stone to go over there and pester the station for awhile.
of 12: You accomplish that by calling the station's number on a phone. See the Using a Phone section for all the details.
of 12: Once you've unloaded your sentry stone problem on Emma Harry and her poor dog, you'll be able to visit the camp and dig site.
of 12: NOTE: The next time you enter the service station entrance area from outside, the guy in the office will be attacked by the sentry stone, which manages to break in through the office's side window.
