What do I do in the palace?

  • 1 of 9: First of all, see that nice looking tree there?
  • 2 of 9: Use it, and you'll get a bunch of acorns.
  • 3 of 9: The nice plump ones don't have much use, but the small hard ones are critical.
  • 4 of 9: Go to the left and you'll see two statues.
  • 5 of 9: Once you've fixed the statues, a passage down will open.
  • 6 of 9: Try to go down, and you'll have the option of keeping or dumping your characters.
  • 7 of 9: Some will stay no matter what you say (like Imoen or Jaheira) and some will stay only if you demand it (like Edwin or Korgan).
  • 8 of 9: Keep them all if you can.
  • 9 of 9: Then go down to the (almost) final area.
