Bioshock Hints
How can I get through those doors?
1 of 11: You can't while the disabled security bot is jamming them.
2 of 11: So enable it.
3 of 11: The only way to do that is to hack it, so target it and press the Hack key to get started.
4 of 11: See the game manual and my Hacking Tips to learn how the hacking minigame works.
5 of 11: This is a super-easy beginner hacking puzzle, and the fluid will be flowing *very* slowly.
6 of 11: Click on several of the unknown pieces to the right of the revealed ones to see what all you get.
7 of 11: You should soon be able to find the pieces you need to finish a pipeline that leads to the fluid exit point.
8 of 11: Drag and drop them all in place, then click on the "increase flow speed" button that's below the puzzle board to finish. (Or just right-click to get the same effect.)
9 of 11: Now the security bot will move out of the way, allowing you to go through the doors.
10 of 11: Also, it'll follow you around and shoot at anyone hostile to you (though usually not until you attack them with something first).
11 of 11: NOTE: You can move up to the security bot and use the Use key on it to deactivate it, then reactivate it later if you want (though it'll eventually blow up if you wait too long).
