Bioshock Hints

Use Emergency Access Route

  • 1 of 8: After you exit to the corridor and get this goal from Atlas, turn right and go into the foyer area.
  • 2 of 8: The first thing to do there is go over to the Medical Services Cashier desk and look on it and around it for loot. Also, go up the stairs near the desk to find another corpse to search.
  • 3 of 8: Then go check out the clown-faced vending machine that's back at the other end of the foyer to see if it has anything you want to buy.
  • 4 of 8: When you're ready to move on, find the jammed doors to the right of the vending machine.
  • 5 of 8: Move into the area past the emergency doors cautiously, since there will be some splicers fighting among themselves not far ahead.
  • 6 of 8: Search the emergency access area, not missing the desk in the NE corner, then go up the stairs.
  • 7 of 8: Across from a locked door at the top of the stairs, you'll find an emergency access control panel.
  • 8 of 8: Use it to get the "Get the key from Steinman" goal. After you finish that, this goal will transform into "Open the Emergency Access."
