Bioshock Hints

Open the Emergency Access

  • 1 of 8: Search the entire viewing rooms area for items, then get your Electro Bolt out and go east past the gun turret.
  • 2 of 8: Several splicers will appear at the east end of the corridor as you go down it.
  • 3 of 8: When you enter the tunnel east of the surgery foyer, there'll be a minor collapse that blocks the other end of the tunnel.
  • 4 of 8: Watch out for any new splicers in the area, then head for the door at the east end.
  • 5 of 8: As you approach that door, a little sister and her big daddy escort will come in through it.
  • 6 of 8: You don't have to kill the big daddy and harvest or rescue the little sister now, and you may want to put it off. However, doing it now will mean more ADAM now that you can spend at the nearby Gatherer's Garden machine.
  • 7 of 8: Be ready with Telekinesis when you reenter the foyer area, since there'll be a nitro splicer in the little control room that's directly across the foyer from you.
  • 8 of 8: After he's toast, go to the south end of the lower floor in the emergency access area to find the gate that you need to open with the emergency access key.
