Spare Big Daddy Note
of 4: After finishing off a little sister's big daddy and harvesting or rescuing her, you may later find another big daddy of the same type wandering around nearby by himself.
of 4: I call these "spare big daddies" since they never have a little sister with them.
of 4: Not every big daddy you see walking around by himself is a spare. Some of them may be little sister protectors, and their charges are currently taking a nap inside a wall hole. If you follow the big daddy long enough, he should go to a wall hole and bang next to it to awaken the little sister. (Spares may sometimes do this, but they'll never get a little sister to come out.)
of 4: Whatever the reason for their existence, you should leave the spares alone. The money they have on them isn't worth all the ammo and effort necessary to kill them. (Besides, they can be handy to do research on -- see the Research Tips.)
