Bioshock Hints
Lower Plaza Floor Tips
of 22: Approach the door to the "Sir Prize Games of Chance" casino and listen to hear some splicers fighting each other inside.
of 22: While you're waiting for them to finish, you can smash the display windows if you're willing to put up with a security alarm.
of 22: Go in when you want to finish off the survivors and loot the losers.
of 22: Hack the safe that's behind the counter in the NE corner to get some nice ammo, including trap bolts for the crossbow. (See the general Trap Bolt Tips.)
of 22: Look for some film beside an audio log in a container near the counter, and grab a first aid kit off the pool table.
of 22: After playing the slots as much as you want to, head back outside and go south a bit to find an alcove with a U-Invent machine and a health station that you should hack.
of 22: Head on down to the south end of the floor to find the door to Sinclair Spirits. Before you go in, consider smashing the right-hand display window to get an EVE hypo. (Yes, it'll sound another security alarm. Oh, bother.)
of 22: Inside Sinclair Spirits, move forward and destroy the security camera that's up on the ceiling on the right side.
of 22: Searching the area will reveal nothing but a couple of cash registers and several merlot bottles, plus a locked door.
of 22: To open that door, look behind the counter for a switch.
of 22: Go through the door and down the steps to find a cellar with lots of merlot, a "Power to the People" weapon upgrade machine, and a safe to hack.
of 22: Watch for a "statuesque" splicer to appear behind you after you use the weapon upgrade station. Quickly attack her before she can attack you.
of 22: Go back up the stairs and leave the store, watching out for splicers along the way.
of 22: A bit north of Sinclair Spirits, you'll find that you can now go down some stairs next to a large "More Items Downstairs" sign. (If the stairs are still blocked, you didn't kill the plaster-covered splicer in the Sinclair Spirits cellar, so go do that now.)
of 22: Go to the SW corner of the large downstairs area to find two prox mines and an Extra Nutrition 2 physical tonic on a crate.
of 22: On the way back to the stairs, watch out for several new "statues" to unfreeze and attack you. There may be a couple more such "statues" somewhere near the top of the stairs. With all of them, it's best to initiate the battle from a distance with a powerful attack, like an incindiary bolt from the crossbow.
of 22: There are two large holes in the walls with stuff past them than you can grab with Telekinesis. The one along the west wall, near the door to the frozen tunnels, has some exploding buck in it, and the one near the west end of the eastern hallway has a first aid kit.
of 22: Go down the east hall to find entrances to Roberton's Tobaccoria and Eve's Garden.
of 22: The garden area will have to be visited for a goal, so skip it for now and go into the tobacco store.
of 22: Sneak inside and quickly kill any splicers you see (using Enrage if there's more than one), then look behind the counter for an EVE hypo.
of 22: Hack or unlock the keypad on the locked door near the counter, then quickly shoot out the security camera that's to your left as you go through the door.
