Bioshock Hints
Find Kyburz's Device.
of 14: The door to Kyburz's office is between the two turrets, but it's code-locked.
of 14: That's okay, since the "device" that the audio diary mentioned isn't in there, anyway.
of 14: From the turrets, head down the south corridor and turn left.
of 14: NOTE: Don't worry about the houdini splicer who chickens out when you enter the room. He won't reappear.
of 14: Look on nearby desks for a chemical thrower and a frag grenade, then search the back part of the room to find a few more items.
of 14: However, you still won't find Kyburz's special device.
of 14: You need to look for an entrance to a secret workshop room where the device was kept.
of 14: Look carefully along this room's east wall.
of 14: To the left of an overturned desk, near the corner, is a crawlspace door.
of 14: Use it to open it, then crouch-walk through it and down a short crawlway to reach the secret workroom.
of 14: The device you're looking for is on the workbench to the left.
of 14: After you find it, you'll need to get the audio diary that explains what it is.
of 14: It's on the other workbench in the secret workroom (next to the Damage Research combat tonic).
of 14: Listening to that audio diary will get you the "Finish Kyburz's EMP Bomb" goal and its three sets of sub-goals.
